Jam Packed

Labor Day Weekend here at Apple Island, and as far as we can tell - there is narry an empty spot in the place. One of the cabins near us is empty. The people arrived, 4 adults and 3 children, stayed one night and were off first thing the next morning. Other than that, it is Jam Packed. Lots of campfires going all day long. Laughter and the sounds of all kinds of ball games. Football, baseball, volley ball, badmitten. Yummie smells all day long - steak, bacon, corn on the cob -sweet smells too- hmmm smores in the morning!
The golfers were out on the course moments after the sun peeked up over the horizon...maybe even just before!
I have tried to send pictures - will try again, seems the wireless gets somehow "interrupted" with the uploading of the photos!
It has been a beautiful weekend - sun and warm, lots of rest and study.

Well, again a no go with the pictures - hmmm!
***News flash!!! Here it is Thursday after Labor Day - the campground is now back to its seasonal folk, the internet isn't so jammed....and the pictures uploaded!! Imagine that!!! This is fun, and a lesson in patience.

Keeping our focus on the Lord and the adventure ahead -
Grace and Peace,

Grammie Betimes
