Sorting Sorting Sorting

Eeee Gad! Thousands and thousands of pictures and scrap books and various collections from the Clymer St hoe out landed in my basement and garage. Mainly because much of the stuff are tresures for sure. However; much more are not. I cannot believe the things saved that I have found. At the same time, I find wonderful, meaningful treasures loaded with sweet memories and nostalgia sweeps over me. Love of family and how important we are/were to our parents and other family members is evident in all that my parents and grandmother saved. I am moving soon. Not sure where to, other than a bit of respite at a local campground. In the mean time much of my husbands and my belongings are going to a mini storage place. I guess these things could go there as well. My hope was to have them all sorted by now - neatly packed in boxes for relatives who would seem likely to benefit from them. I got caught up in the massive undertaking, and I admit got very discouraged, no time to do the neat job I wanted to. Tonight I tackled the project once again. This time I found a true treasure, a very old photo of the Clymer St house with porch and small maple tree in front yard, larger pine in back and a description on the back of the property, I quit sorting. Hoorah! At the closing Brian asked if we could come up with a photo of the house that showed the front porch. Not only does it have the porch, but the L addition is in it's original state as well. I have again retreated to the sanity of my blog. I wish I could figure out things like...scanning a picture, and then posting it here...I tried for a very brief time, no go. I have learned that twice is my limit. So at our next family gathering in a couple weeks I will bring what I have been able to sort to share and give away, and among them is this wonderful old picture of a wonderful home and lots of sweet sweet memories. You know what...even the memories have to get sorted out!! Ah yes, and I am on Jack's computer...so none of the pictures on my computer are available...so likely in the future I will edit this post and add a picture.
Grace and peace to you.

Julie, do you have a scanner? I mean, you gave me the one you had before. If you need assistance, I can help!! I can even let you use "your" scanner that I have! LOL! I love you and I love your blog!
